Roy Watling to speak at Members’ Day.
If you’ve read the blog I posted a month or so back, entitled Beatrix Potter – Mycologist Extraordinaire, you’ll know the pivotal role played by Professor Roy Watling in uncovering Beatrix Potter’s place in scientific mycology.
Now, Garden Members are in for a real treat as Roy is coming to speak at our annual Members’ Day on this very subject!
Members’ Day is on Saturday 14th May, and always has a very full and varied programme of talks, walks and other activities. Roy Watling will be speaking at Theatr Botanica (the AV Theatre) at 2.30pm.
150 years since Beatrix Potter’s birth, this is definitely not to be missed.
