Head of Marketing, Communications and Engagement

Oversee the diverse team which deliver day-to-day communications and marketing operations, including media, marketing and public relations, crisis communications, interpretation, public programmes and engagement and audience insight.

  • Develop, manage and deliver ambitious external communications, public affairs and brand positioning.
  • Oversee press handling and marketing of the organisation’s commercial visitor services.
  • Working closely with the Director and the Senior Leadership Team to develop and facilitate a network of supporters and advocates who contribute to the organisation’s profile.

Horticultural Supervisor

The Horticultural Supervisor is responsible for the delivery of all aspects of the operational duties of the horticultural team.

The Horticultural Supervisor coordinates and supports the horticultural teams to undertake the seasonal activities required to maintain the garden and its plant collections to the highest horticultural and curational standards.

Horticulturist (Walled Garden)

Responsible for supporting the Senior Horticulturist with the management and maintenance of the Walled Garden and systematic beds and Orchard for the Celtic Nations and the associated plant collections.

They are part of a team and will support the Senior Horticulturist with the management of apprentices and volunteers. They will undertake the seasonal activities required to maintain the Walled Garden and systematic beds and Orchard for the Celtic Nations and its plant collections as directed by the Walled Garden SH and seek to do this to the highest horticultural and curatorial standards.

6-month fixed term contract to cover for long term sick leave.
