If it’s raining, explore the Great Glasshouse

Bruce Langridge

What do you do if you come to the Garden and it’s not only pouring with rain but is stormy too?

Our wonderful volunteer conservation group had this dilemma this week. They usually explore the outdoor nooks and crannies of the Garden when they meet on Tuesday mornings but, this week, the weather was appalling. So, they set themselves the challenge of discovering the wildflowers of the ‘indoor’ Great Glasshouse.

The result was this set of unnamed flower images by volunteer photographer Peter Williams. Looking at these beauties, you’d think it was the height of summer.
