Education

The Garden is a great place to come and learn. Our varied learning opportunities focus on connecting children with the natural environment and learning for sustainability both of which are explicitly linked.

All of our programmes are linked to the new curriculum and the 4 purposes

We have the following resources

  • great indoor and outdoor learning spaces over 160 acres of ornamental gardens plus 400 acres of organic working farm and National Nature Reserve
  • a friendly team of teachers, course leaders and skilled professionals
  • a variety of curriculum-linked programmes for schools and colleges and support for teachers
  • a range of lifelong learning opportunities for all ages and abilities

Look through our Primary Education Programmes booklet to find out costs, how to book and for further information (to print this, double side, flip on the short edge).

Or you can select an age group category below to take a look at the formal learning programmes that we have developed.

Contact the Education Department by emailing sarah.williams@gardenofwales.org.uk or phoning 01558 667150, to discuss how we can adapt programmes to suit the needs of your group.
