Wild species of daffodil are Mediterranean plants and the hoop-petticoat daffodil hails from France, Spain and Portugal.
We grow this quirky character and other wild daffodil species in the Mediterranean section of the Great Glasshouse. One of the smaller daffodil species, it grows to only 15 cm high, and has very narrow, rush-like leaves.
