White Sage

Salvia apiana

Many of the Californian native tribes people used white sage seeds to clean & heal their sore eyes.

One alarming technique placed the seeds underneath the eyelids before sleep. During the night the seeds would swell & become soft. The seeds collected any foreign material as the person slept and were removed from the eyes in the morning!
