Celtic Wildflowers’ aim is to support the conservation of native flora. We grow over 250 native plant species, including trees and mosses, selections based on 30 years working in environmental consultancy. All of our work employs sustainable and ethical practices and we are peat-free.
The Wildflower Nursery grow a variety of British native wildflower plants at our nursery in Pembrokeshire. Plants are grown organically and peat-free from locally collected seed, or from seed sourced responsibly within the UK.
Applewise Fruit Trees is a small nursery specialising in growing Welsh variety apple trees in a sustainable way. We have been in business for over thirty years growing, promoting and helping to protect the old Welsh varieties of apple and fruit tree varieties that do well in Wales.
Wyndrush Wild is hidden away near the south Pembrokeshire coast, where Matt and Vicky farm a protected wildlife site, making hay and honey from their orchid-rich meadows. Ripe seed is collected from our farm and other carefully selected wildflower meadows across West Wales, for sale to anyone wishing to start their own meadow creation project.
West Wales Willows, located in Carmarthenshire, grows more than 250 varieties of willow and has been awarded National Plant Collection status for Salix (willow) by Plant Heritage.
Rhoshill Garden Plants grows herbs and shrubs in an environmentally friendly and peat-free way, using exclusively natural predators and no chemical pesticides. Owner, Andy Cook, trained at Oaklands Horticultural College and spent 17 years at Aylett Nurseries Ltd, before establishing his own nursery in Cardigan.
Quinky Wholesale Plants are wholesale producers of 100% peat and chemical pesticide free alpines and culinary herbs for sale to garden centres in Wales and the borders. We also supply young plants.
At Tŷ Cwm Nursery in Llanybydder, West Wales, we grow unusual perennials as well as herbs, bedding, veg, fruit, shrubs and climbers. Our breeding program has produced new varieties that are retailed globally. We work in harmony with nature, are peat and pesticide free, and are always happy to give advice
Penlan Perennials was founded in 1998 and was taken over by Graham and Julie Moore in 2018 when Richard retired. We have continued to expand the business, specialising in ferns, shade and woodland plants, bog plants, hardy geraniums and now cottage garden perennials. We have stayed with the founding principles of organic and peat-free plant production.
L&J Nursery – Based in Narberth, we grow a range of cottage perennials available for sale from the garden at The Malthouse antiques centre, open to the public daily. Our plants are grown locally and peat-free, without any pesticides.
Brynllwyd is a family-run organic agroforestry farm located just outside Lampeter at an altitude of around 1100 feet. Formerly a clear-fell monoculture forestry site, it now has a wide diversity of permanent crops, mainly trees offering edible crops and plants that benefit the soil and pollinators.
Perennial Gardens, Café and Farm Shop in St. Davids was created by botanists Gill and Pippa. They specialise in hardy perennials which thrive in challenging and coastal conditions and also stock dramatic plants to make a statement in a border or pot.
Lamphey Walled Garden is a beautiful kitchen and flower garden set in rolling farmland near Manorbier in Pembrokeshire. Our specialist nursery grows a range of peat-free, naturally grown shrubs and perennials that suit the South West Wales climate as they have been tried and tested within the walled garden here in Lamphey
Tan-y-Llyn Nursery lies above the Vyrnwy Valley in Montgomeryshire. It is 600 ft high, surrounded by pasture and forest. We’ve been growing since 1988 and propagate plants which are suitable for sun and partial shade.
Caves Folly Nurseries, owned by Bridget Evans and William Leaper, lies on the beautiful slopes of the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire. We have been growing plants in peat-free, organic compost and organically for over 35 years.

Liliwen Herbs, run by Lucie Scott, herb grower, based on a smallholding in the Carmarthenshire hills. I grow all kinds of herbs and sell them as fresh cut leaves, dried herbs and herbal teas, and as plants to grow in your garden. Everything is done naturally using methods that support and nourish the land and plants, using no agrichemicals detrimental to human, animal or plant health.
Welsh Organic Wildflowers is a small nursery set on a Soil Association certified organic farm. We believe in organic, sustainable and local. We primarily grow plants from seed collected from our own organic hay meadows, woodlands and verges. We aim to minimise any negative environmental impacts by minimising single-use plastics and sending out all our plants in sustainable paper and cardboard packaging.
