Gary was appointed chair of trustees in December 2018.
Previously Interim Director at the Garden for four months in 2016, Gary was the Garden’s first head of marketing and PR when it opened. He left in 2001 to be CEO of South West Wales Regional Tourism Partnership. All RTPs were closed by WG in 2014 and Gary set up a consultancy in marketing and destination management and also worked as interim head of ops at Oakwood Theme Park.
He is a fluent Welsh speaker and lives near Llandeilo.
