John Lloyd-Jones was born in Llanddewi Brefi to a farming family. He worked for the financial services industry for over 40 years for three companies, HSBC Bank, Grant Thornton Accountants and Metro Bank. John is currently working with HCR Law as Business Development Associate.
John currently serves on the boards of the Millennium Stadium Charitable Trust, The Cyber Resilience Centre for Wales (WCRC), The Council for Wales of Voluntary Youth Services (CWVYS) and Ronald McDonald House. He has previously served on the boards of Princes Trust Cymru, NSPCC Wales, and Wales in London.
He is a fluent Welsh speaker and lives in Cardiff. In 2024, John was awarded an MBE for his charitable work.
