Mothers’ Day
There’s a treat in store for mum on Sunday, March 26th, with FREE entry for her to a special ‘pamper day’ at the National Botanic Garden of Wales.
There is an impressive line-up of beauticians, make-up experts and local food and drink producers offering a tempting range of tasters including a free glass of elderflower champagne, facials, skin care advice, manicures, pedicures – and all free of charge for mam!
There’ll be special guest at this year’s Fair too, as baking businesswoman and winner of The Apprentice 2016, Alana Spencer, will be selling products from her brand-new business, Ridiculously Rich by Alana!
Alana will take her place in Lord Foster’s Great Glasshouse along with a mouth-watering array of food and drink as well as crafts and gifts from other West Wales producers.
Organiser Steffan John said: “As well as free entry on the day to this gorgeous garden, mums are in for a real treat with all sorts of people offering all kinds of goodies including a free glass of champagne!”
“We also have some lovely music to suit all tastes, including our favourite harpist Shelley Fairplay and folk duo Fiddlebox. In addition, there’s fun and games and magic and mystery with conjurer Luke Jugglestruck dropping by and flying displays by Pembrokeshire Falconry.”
So, instead of buying flowers for Mothers’ Day this year, bring your mum to the centre of the flowers, at the National Botanic Garden.
The National Botanic Garden is open from 10am until 4.30pm, with last entry at 3.30pm. Admission to the Garden is £9.75 (including Gift Aid donation) but FREE to all mums, grandmothers and great-grandmothers on Sunday, March 26.
