McCutcheon’s grevillea is a rare shrub in the family Proteaceae.
It is endemic to SW Western Australia, where only seven mature plants remain in the wild. It grows between the Swan Coastal Plain and Whicher Scarp.
It bears large red flowers which are very attractive and has flattened, three-lobed leaves circling the stem.
McCutcheon’s Grevillea was ranked by the Australian government as Critically Endangered in 1995 and a Recovery Team established to address the most threatening processes affecting its survival in the wild.
