There are exciting new additions to the Garden’s Gold range, available exclusively at the National Botanic Garden of Wales. Three beautiful new soaps are now on sale in the Botanic Garden’s Gift Shop – Honey Soap, Honey and Lavender Soap and Honey and Geranium Rose Soap.
These soaps have been made using products from the hives at the National Botanic Garden of Wales, and have been carefully handmade and hand-packaged by our brilliant Beekeeper and Ecosystems Trainer, Lynda!

Our Bees
Home to approximately half a million honeybees, the Botanic Garden is abuzz with activity throughout most of the year.
Research undertaken by the Garden’s Science Team has discovered that, although the Garden offers our honeybees a magnificent menu of more than 11,000 types of plants, they rely on the hedgerow, woodland and grassland species such as brambles, white clover, dandelion, willow, hawthorn and ivy for most of their diet.
