Come and join us for a behind the scenes tour of the Plant Growing Areas.
Explore the nurseries where plants are grown for the Botanic Garden and where rare plants are housed. The Botanic Garden’s nurseries are full of fascinating plants from across the world, this unique tour gives you an insight into how experienced horticulturalists care for these plants. Also, discover the part we play in growing rare Welsh plants and how we safeguard these plants for the future.
This tour is at 1pm and will last an hour.
The tour starts at the Apothecary Hall.
There is a charge of £4 for members and £5 each for all other visitors (children and adults are the same price).

This tour is in aid of the National Garden Scheme, who are one of the partners for our Apprenticeship in Botanical Horticulture.
Normal Garden admission also applies.
Remember that you can use our special seven-day ‘boomerang’ ticket to come back as many times as you like, for seven days after your initial, paid-for visit.
