This summer, the National Botanic Garden of Wales invites families, young explorers, and curious minds to take part in Discover & Grow, an exciting programme of hands-on science, nature, sustainability, and outdoor learning experiences.
Blending ecology, chemistry, microscopy, astronomy, horticulture, conservation, and creative outdoor activities, the programme offers interactive workshops and family sessions designed to inspire curiosity through real scientific investigation and immersive discovery.
Growing Together
Join the National Botanic Garden of Wales for Growing Together, a six-week sustainable horticulture course combining hands-on gardening, plant science, ecology, food, and community learning. Through practical activities including propagation, composting, biodiversity projects, climate-smart gardening, and cooking with fresh garden produce, participants will build confidence in sustainable growing while connecting with nature and like-minded people in the beautiful surroundings of the Garden.
