The Fragile Landscape brings together five Welsh artists Aneira Thomas, Keyleigh Hooley, Louise Soale, Menna Angharad, and Sylvia Hughes-Williams for a celebration of the natural world in all its quiet beauty.
Running from Friday 17th April to Sunday 10th May, the exhibition draws on a shared sensitivity to the delicate, qualities of the landscapes, coastlines, and everyday natural details that surround us in Wales. Working across watercolour, acrylic, oil, and mixed media, these artists each bring their own distinctive voice to themes of fragility, atmosphere, and the subtle rhythms of the natural environment.
From Keyleigh Hooley’s coastal seascapes to Louise Soale’s layered studies of the South Wales hillsides, from Menna Angharad’s intimate oil paintings to Sylvia Hughes-Williams’ atmospheric wildlife scenes, and from Aneria’s patterned flowers, the exhibition invites visitors to pause, look closely, and reconnect with the world beyond our doors.
