Experience two traditional countryside crafts in one practical workshop.
During the day you’ll learn the techniques of hedge laying while collecting suitable woody material before firing our charcoal kiln to produce high-quality charcoal. The course also covers sustainable woodland management and the safe handling of tools and materials.
Each participant will leave with both a bag of charcoal and a handcrafted walking stick made from hedgerow or woodland material.
