We are very sorry to report that our lovely plans for a smashing Mother’s Day event have had to be postponed. But it’s still FREE entry for mam on Sunday!
A special mention for our partners who were helping us lay on a special treat for the most important woman in your life: Bee Dazzled Cymru, Calon Cakes, Gower Coast Craft and Not Enough Stuff were going to be at our fair but had also planned to contribute a special gift on the day for the first 100 mums through the door.
Times are going to be tough for small businesses, so visit their websites and see if you can buy something for your mum – and see what you can do to help our friends and partners, too.
Talking of which, the Garden is still open. It’s big, safe, wide open with lots of space so you can easily stick to the ‘social distancing’ advice we’re getting. Please visit. We are a small business, too, and an independent charity and we need your help and support more than ever – and the weather is looking fab for Sunday!
We are very sorry we have had to postpone all our lovely events but it is the correct course of action. We cannot hold events that will attract large groups of people to gather in one place but the Garden is big enough – at 568 acres – for you to get out in the fresh air – safely – and enjoy the mental and physical space that will be so important to us in the coming months.
The British Bird of Prey Centre is also giving free entry to mums. With two daily flying displays and a daily owl show. As an extra treat, why not get a flying experience for Mother’s Day, 30 minutes with a Kite or Owl.
All of the Garden catering outlets are now closed due to government requirements.
Hopefully, we’ll see you soon.
Entry is FREE for Garden members and parking is FREE for all. The Garden is open 10am to 4pm and last entry is at 3:30pm
