Throughout February, the National Botanic Garden of Wales welcomed Welsh artist Nathan Wyburn as Artist in Residence as part of the Little Things Festival.
During his residency, Nathan created ten striking portraits celebrating Welsh icons, using unexpected and unconventional everyday materials. Known for transforming humble items into bold, large-scale artworks, Nathan’s work perfectly reflects the festival’s theme – finding something extraordinary in the ordinary.
Visitors can now view the completed series in Little Things: Big Welsh Icons exhibition showcasing Welsh culture through a fresh and contemporary lens.
