An exhibition celebrating the 10th anniversary of Stitching Botanical.

Stitching Botanical is a self-funded, volunteer, creative textile group, hosted by and stitching for the National Botanic Garden of Wales.

Over the last 10 years, the Stitching Botanical Group have produced an extensive collection of work which supports the mission of the National Botanic Garden of Wales.

This exhibition is a unique opportunity to view the extensive collection of nature inspired textile pieces set against the beautiful backdrop of the Botanic Gardens. There will be mini exhibitions situated in various locations around the Garden.

There will be sewing skill sharing sessions on the following dates:

  • Saturday 4th May
  • Wednesday 8th May
  • Friday 10th May
  • Saturday 11th May
  • Wednesday 15th May
  • Friday 17th May

Sessions are at 11am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 3.30pm. There’s no need to prebook these sessions which will take place in the Great Glasshouse.

Volunteers from the Stitching Botanical group will be running these sewing skill sharing sessions.

There will be a fun Scarecrow Trail for younger family members to follow. Pick up a map of all exhibition locations on arrival and this will also have the Scarecrow Trail.

Normal Garden admission applies.
