The secret lives of garden bees

  • Sun 19 Jun to Mon 20 Jun 2022
  • 12pm to 4pm

Come and join bee champion and award-winning writer, Jean Vernon on a special bee safari in the wildflower meadows of the National Botanic Garden.

On Sunday June 19 and Monday June 20, ‘Queen Bee’ Jean will be leading walks, giving talks, signing her new book and sharing her nature table with us. She’ll also be compering a game of Bee Bingo – see how many common bee species you can spot!

You will get to meet a huge variety of bees and hear about the plants that will really make a difference to them.

Daily Telegraph writer and author of ‘The Secret Lives of Bees’, Jean will share with us the magic of these special creatures and introduce us to a whole new world – that exists right in your back garden.

The action starts at 12noon on both days.

No need to book, this event is free with Garden admission.
