Wildlife Gardening for Everyone

Learn how to create and maintain a productive wildlife and planet-friendly garden, whatever size plot you have, to increase biodiversity and add colour and nature to your life. The workshop includes planting schemes, practical crafts for making wildlife habitats and the many benefits of rewilding part of where you live.

The Wildlife Gardening course for everyone includes practical demonstrations, slides and plenty of time for all of your questions.

About your trainer

Stephanie Hafferty is a leading expert in no-dig gardening, a garden and food writer, edible garden consultant, and has been growing her own food for over thirty years. As well as growing at home and on allotments, she has created kitchen gardens on private estates, for restaurants, community gardens and market gardens. She specialises in growing in domestic spaces, teaching and writing about how to grow food year-round. She writes for gardening, food and lifestyle publications internationally, a regular blog, has two published books including the award-winning No Dig Organic Home and Garden (with Charles Dowding) and is currently working on another two books.

We have a duty of care to ensure your safety during this course, with social distancing and hygiene measures in place. You are welcome to wear your own face mask and gloves – these will not be provided. Due to current restrictions, we are unable to offer refreshments so please bring your own, alternatively, you are welcome to use the Botanic Garden’s catering outlets.
