A fun-filled event for all the family to enjoy at the National Botanic Garden of Wales

The Garden is home of children’s favourites, Plas Pilipala (The Butterfly House), The Great Glasshouse, Fairy Woods, Zorbing, the Hay Bale Maze and the Adventure playground.

The day celebrating Welsh culture, during the Year of Legends here in Wales, will be full of exciting indoor and outdoor activities suitable for children of all ages – including music, dance, shows, stories, games and much more.  All of this in addition to all of the usual things to do – so whatever the weather, there’ll be plenty of ‘Hwyl’ (Fun) at the Garden.

All activities are FREE, so it’s just the standard admission fee to the Garden that applies. And with under 5’s free and Family tickets for 2 adults and up to 4 children, it’s a great value day out!

As well as the many activities which everyone can enjoy throughout day, three of these are limited in numbers and it’s recommended that places are booked in advance; these being ‘Clocsio Fun with Tudur’ workshops, the Roald Dahl show and the Storytelling Walks.  Please contact the Carmarthenshire Tourism Association to book.

Roald Dahl fans will love the new ‘Roald Dahl – Imagine That! show, held in the Theatr Botanica. In his unique multicolour coat, covered with pockets for his books, he will share with the children his love of reading, and will reveal the adventures that happen to him when he starts to read. His absolute favourite author is Roald Dahl.
