Seed-Saving for Gardeners Course

Ever wondered how to optimise your harvest for taste, or how to reduce the volume of your produce that goes to waste? Want to know how to collect and prepare seed for storage, ready for next year?

Join Growing the Future’s Horticultural Trainer, Ben, to learn when to harvest your home-grown produce and discover how different storage techniques can provide you with a bounty of produce to enjoy. Ben will also guide you through the processes and techniques essential for successful seed collection, preparation and storage, while preserving genetic diversity.

Course at Insole Court, Llandaff.  Booking is essential. 10am-2.30pm. £40 (£36 Concessions, Members and Volunteers of the Botanic Garden and Insole Court).  For more information, including how to book, please call 01558 667150 or visit the Garden’s Eventbrite page.
