How to book

Due to the popularity of Welly Wednesday we’ve introduced ANOTHER session, Welly Tuesday!

Welly Tuesday activities are at 1pm and are included in the price of entry (under 5s are free) and run every Tuesday during term time. Welly Tuesday features an hour of fun, outdoor activities, storytelling and exploring for pre-schoolers during term time.

This week’s activity, the 2 April, is a session called ‘What’s in the pond?’. After the usual bring-and-share a snack, the children will meet a little tadpole and go and visit the pond to look at the frog-spawn there.  Children will also go pond dipping to see what else in the pond. At the end of the session the children will create a puppet to show the life cycle of a tadpole, and have a story called ‘the teeny weeny tadpole’.

Next week’s activity, the 9 April, is a session called ‘Easter bunnies’.  After the usual bring-and-share a snack, the children will find some hungry bunnies in the woods and then look for and collect things they like to eat.  The children will make their own bunny ears and will use their imaginations to pretend to be rabbits.  There will be an egg hunt at the end as well as a rabbit story and song time.

Activities will be updated weekly.
