Admission tickets are valid for the following seven days after your visit and permit free unlimited entry for this period.
The National Botanic Garden of Wales is open every day of the year, except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Last entry is
one hour before the Garden closes. Please refer to our terms & conditions.
Pre-booking is not essential, tickets can be purchased on the day of entry at the Gatehouse.

Can I bring my dog to the Botanic Garden?
Dogs are not allowed into the Botanic Garden on a daily basis (with the exception of assistance dogs), but every Monday and every Friday is Doggy Day, and the first weekend of each month.

On Doggy Days, you are welcome to walk your pooch in and around the Botanic Garden.
Dogs are not permitted in the Great Glasshouse or the Tropical House. We do ask dog owners to abide by our Doggy Day rules – please read them before you bring your dog.
Cycling in the Botanic Garden
We do not allow bicycles or skateboards into the Botanic Garden. However, if you cycle to the Botanic Garden, you are entitled to half price entry (on handing in helmets for safekeeping).
