Celebrate the fascinating world of fungi here at the National Botanic Garden of Wales!

The Botanic Garden  is a great place to come and look for wild fungi, you’ll find all types of mushroom-friendly habitat here – woods, fields, lawns and flower beds.

Some of our fungi are very special. We have wild mushrooms that have been found nowhere else in Wales, fungi that are rare across the UK and on our Waun Las National Nature Reserve, we have a meadow that has an internationally important collection of multi-coloured waxcap fungi. We also have some of the most bizarre and beautiful fungi on earth.

Explore the weird and wonderful world of fungi for yourself by coming along to the event. There will be a series of captivating talks and tours, activities for all ages and a fungal display where you can explore their fascinating and intricate details for yourself up close.
