Kitchen Cosmetics Course

Wed 15 May 2024 10am - 2pm BOOK HERE

Are you interested in making simple cosmetics at home? If so, why not join our resident Beekeeper Martin, for one of his kitchen cosmetic courses.

You will learn how to make an effective but really simple soap using items that you can normally find in your kitchen or are readily available from supermarkets. You will also produce your own lip balm and skin cream to take away with you, as well as a sample of the soap. This half day session introduces you to the wonderful world of natural cosmetics and uses materials, such as honey and beeswax, sourced from our own bees.

This will be a half day course from 10am -2pm and will take place in the Botanic Garden’s Science Centre.

The course is £50 (Members £45) which incudes all course materials and entry to the Botanic Garden, please feel free to explore after the session!

There are a wide range of dates available from March to September.

Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance.
