Go WILD in the Garden this Summer

Mon 22 Jul 2024 10:30am - 2:30pm Normal admission applies

The Botanic Garden is the place to be this summer with an exciting range of family activities to take part in with pond dipping, campfire and den building, sewing and discover insects in the meadows and a session in the intriguing Apothecary Hall.

With special activities of the summer holidays and 568 acres to play with, this summer will be wild.
Botanic Garden activity leader Emily Ivens said: “Our activities suit all age groups so there really is something for everyone, whether that be  building a camp fire, making dens, a minibeast hunt, pond  dipping, arts and crafts, fun and games.”
“It’s a great time to discover the Botanic Garden, get close to nature, enjoy a real day out and make some very special memories.”
The British Bird of Prey Centre is open every day, too, with amazing flying displays, each day at 11.30am and 2.30pm.
